We are a family owned vegetable garden business.

Serving the Northern Virginia area and parts of Maryland, we believe that anyone can grow food that they like. While living in the suburbs we found that people struggled to connect to their food system. We strive to assist families in suburban and urban environments in growing their own raised bed vegetable gardens. By creating a beautiful extension of their home, we not only increase food security for our community but also deepen their connection to the nature around them. The ideal beginning of your foodscape always begins with a design and a plan. You will receive a consultation and customized vegetable garden layout. Along with support suggestions and planting time recommendations.

Consultations

Planting time is a fun time and the best time to put the garden plan into action! We work with you for seed spacing, transplants and succession plantings. We also love to get the family involved so if you have little ones, we can help get them excited and learning about where their food comes from.

Coaching Sessions

Gardens want to thrive and we want you to also. By learning the best techniques to help the different types of plants you have will help your garden be the best it can be. We can teach you or do it for you. Pruning, fertilizing, pinching, and harvesting. Enjoy the abundance from your own garden beds!

If you are a beginning gardener, start learning the ropes and build your connection to your food. We listen to you and your family and start there with a basic garden bed design. With guidance and encouragement, many gardeners feel more successful and have a higher yield than when gardening alone.
